New Weight Loss Method Freezes Nerve that Tells the Brain You’re Hungry

Where Does Fat Go When You Lose Weight?

Many people often think that fat disappears through the colon or turns into muscle, well neither of these are correct. The body actually loses fat (and carbohydrates, protein, and alcohol) via the lungs. For example, if the body loses 10 pounds of fat, precisely 8.4 pounds comes out through your lungs and the remaining 1.6 pounds turns into water. What’s Better for Weight Loss: Small Meals or Intermittent Fasting?

Personal trainers have been telling us for many years that eating smaller, more frequent meals is the healthiest option in the belief that eating small, snack sized meals throughout the day keeps you fuller longer. Science has proven this might not be the best option. The new theory is that intermittent fasting might be better. For example, one version of intermittent fasting recommends eating all your meals in a short window (6-8 hours) by skipping breakfast or dinner. ½ cup frozen blueberries
1 medium over ripe banana
2 tbsp old fashioned oats
1 tbsp almond butter
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 handful of spinach
1 Medjool date
