In fact, a study by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) showed the impact of telephonic wellness coaching on weight loss. Here are a few quick coaching tips…
- Set goals for food choices and calorie intake.
- Avoid accessibility to unhealthy foods and try to not have them in your house!
- Stop eating when you are comfortably full – do not overeat.
- Plan ahead for what to eat each day and have a shopping list.
- Try not to succumb to store advertising and end up buying more than what is on your shopping list.
